RRD is the acronym of Roberto Ricci Design , a high-level sports and casual fashion brand, founded in Tuscany in 1989. The founder is a lover of the sea and the sports that can be practiced there, especially surfing. Thus he began to create professional and personalized boards that immediately sold out. From there, it was a very short step to thinking of a line of sports clothing to be worn for surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing and SUP and RRD was founded with this very purpose. With the changes in fashion and external stresses, the casual clothing line was also born in a short time, in which jackets, down jackets, coats are the distinctive element, but which can also be found in shirts, knitwear, trousers, in accessories, in jackets for the summer, truly indispensable garments.
The mood is always that of outdoor life, of freedom of movement, always filtered both by the technical aspect of the chosen fabrics, which are highly performing, and by the clean and chic design. The style is minimal, but resistant to all weather conditions. In this regard, RRD often chooses polyurethane, typical of diving suits, and ultralight Lycra® for knitwear and sweatshirts: top fabrics, which will protect you in any weather condition.
