Geza Schoen explains how it is not easy to describe the smell of iris, but you can immediately recognize a perfume that contains it if you compare it to one in which it is not present. Iris adds a creamy powderiness and brings the fragrance into a physical dimension.
Geza Schoen has always loved iris and each Escentric fragrance contains a note within it. For him, iris is a luxurious ingredient and the one used for Molecule +, iris pallida absolute, is among the most expensive varieties in perfumery. Used in large quantities, as in this composition, it gives a fantastic sillage: its creator defined it as a bomb, even if subtle.

Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule, characterized by a warm, velvety and enveloping note of cedar wood. Mandarin is a natural extract.
Mandarin, fruity and aromatic, is released on the skin, giving it brightness thanks to its citrus zest. This transparency means it fades quickly, so Geza Schoen reworked it to give it a more intense nuance, adding a mandarin ingredient normally used for flavoring which gave it a juicy twist. When it fades, Molecule 01 takes over creating a warm and exciting sensation that plays with that crisp freshness. The mandarin and the Iso E Super dance together without other notes intervening between them: the mandarin disappears and Molecule 01 remains with its simplicity, in a composition that perpetually changes from start to finish.
